Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has recently shared his heartfelt emotions about his late mother and expressed his deepest regret.
In a candid interview, Skales poured out his feelings, remembering his mother who passed away in October 2022. The pain of losing her still lingers, and he wished he could turn back time.
“Men, I wish I could bring back my mother,” Skales said, his voice filled with longing.
Skales revealed that his mother’s passing made him realize the importance of continuing his family’s legacy. He feels the weight of responsibility, being the only person left in his bloodline.
“I’m like the only person in my bloodline that is alive right now,” Skales explained. “The whole bloodline relies on me to produce [children].”
This realization sparked a sense of regret in Skales. He wishes he had started a family earlier.
“I regret not having children earlier,” Skales confessed. “I really regret it.”
Despite the pain and regret, Skales is determined to keep his mother’s memory alive and honor her legacy. He continues to make music that inspires and uplifts, using his platform to share his story and connect with fans.
As Skales moves forward, he finds comfort in the memories of his mother and the lessons she taught him. Her love and guidance continue to inspire him, and he hopes to pass on that love and wisdom to his own children one day.
“My mother may be gone, but her memory lives on in my heart,” Skales said. “I’ll keep making her proud, and I know she’ll always be with me in spirit.”
