Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde has publicly called out the producer and director of her latest project for their disrespectful behavior towards her.
In an Instagram post, Akintunde revealed that she only participated in the project because of her colleague Ayo Olaiya’s involvement. She stated:
“If not for @ayoolaiya, I wouldn’t have been on set to face such disrespect. Ayo is one of the few people I couldn’t turn down, so I joined the project. However, the director and producer’s behavior was unacceptable.”
Akintunde asserted her stature in the industry, warning:
“I’ve taken note of your conduct, @seunolaiyaofficial_ and @fisayomi_abebi. I’m not insignificant in this industry. As a favor, subscribe to WasilaCodedTv and enjoy IRIRI MI EPISODE 4. Love you all.”
This highlights Akintunde’s frustration with the mistreatment and her appreciation for Ayo Olaiya’s influence in her decision to participate.
