Tinubu Appoints Odunaiya As New PTAD Executive Secretary.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the removal of Chioma Ejikeme as the Executive Secretary of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD). Tolulope Abiodun Odunaiya has been appointed as her replacement.
This development was confirmed by PTAD spokesman Olugbenga Ajayi on Monday, who expressed confidence in the new appointment. “We are delighted to inform our public, especially PTAD pensioners and other stakeholders, of the appointment of Miss Tolulope Abiodun Odunaiya by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the substantive Executive Secretary of PTAD,” Ajayi stated.
Odunaiya officially assumed her new role on Monday, 18th November 2024, at PTAD headquarters in Abuja. She was warmly received by the directorate’s management and staff, marking a seamless transition of leadership.
The move comes just over a year after Ejikeme’s reappointment, which took effect on 10th October 2023. No official reason for her removal has been disclosed.
Odunaiya’s appointment has raised expectations for improved administration and reforms at PTAD, with stakeholders hopeful for a positive impact under her leadership.
