Ashmusy revealed her challenging childhood, growing up with an irresponsible father and a mother who took loans to provide for their family. Despite poverty, she emphasized never engaging in call girl activities or dating politicians for gain.
She addressed rumors surrounding Senator Dino Melaye, expressing hurt caused by false accusations. Ashmusy also faced constant media and social media scrutiny, questioning her talent, income, wealth, and morals.
To combat stereotypes, Ashmusy changed her dress sense and shared personal struggles. Notably, she auditioned over 100 times without success, including Big Brother Naija. She firmly stated that she built her career independently, without sugar daddies or shortcuts.
