Daniel Dubois Eyes Rematch With Joshua Or Usyk Based On Financial Incentive.
British heavyweight Daniel Dubois has expressed his desire for a high-profile rematch, targeting either Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Usyk, depending on who can provide the more lucrative offer. Dubois, who suffered defeat at the hands of Usyk in 2023 and was recently knocked out by Joshua, remains keen to step back into the ring with one of the two heavyweights.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Dubois stated, “I’d love a rematch, but I’ll fight whoever pays me the most.” The 26-year-old boxer is focused on securing the best financial deal for his next bout, emphasising his ambition to improve on his previous performances. “I aim to be even sharper and more clinical in my next fight,” he added.
With both Joshua and Usyk considered among the top names in the division, a rematch with either fighter would generate significant interest. Dubois, however, is clear that his priority is the financial reward, leaving the decision up to whoever can offer the most attractive payday.
