The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced a new partnership with Ora Developers Egypt, a leading real estate developer, as the official sponsor of the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup Riyadh 2024. The prestigious match, set to take place on 27th September 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will see Egyptian football giants Al Ahly SC face off against their fierce rivals, Zamalek SC.

This sponsorship aligns with Ora Developers Egypt’s vision of supporting the sports sector in Egypt, particularly football, through strategic initiatives and partnerships. The company is committed to empowering youth and promoting the development of sports across the country.

CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba, welcomed the partnership, stating, “We are pleased to welcome Ora Developers as a partner of the TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup Riyadh 2024. It is encouraging to see local businesses getting involved with CAF and supporting the development of football on the continent. The TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup is a world-class event that will be watched by millions of people in many parts of the Middle East, Africa, and the rest of the world.”

Haitham Abdelazim, CEO of Ora Developers Egypt, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the significance of Egyptian clubs in regional football. “This partnership is an important milestone that underlines our unwavering commitment to supporting sport in Egypt and elevating its status at the Arab, African, and international levels,” Abdelazim said.

He further emphasised Ora Developers’ dedication to making a lasting impact on the sporting community in Egypt and Africa, adding, “Through this partnership, we aim to strengthen our role as a key contributor to the development of football in Egypt and Africa, creating a positive and lasting impact on the sporting community. We are determined to continue our support for local talent and develop initiatives that promote the acquisition of sporting and personal skills by young people. We believe that sport is not just a form of entertainment, but a powerful tool to build a better future for Egypt and Africa.”

The TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup Riyadh 2024 is expected to be a thrilling encounter, further enhanced by the support of Ora Developers Egypt, which continues to champion the growth and development of football in the region.
