Ladan Bosso has been unveiled as New Head Coach of Bayelsa United.
Bayelsa United have announced the appointment of Ladan Bosso as their new head coach, Govima Sports reports.
Bosso was officially unveiled at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa on Tuesday. This marks his second tenure with Bayelsa United, having previously managed the team in 2012.
The 56-year-old coach, who has an extensive resume in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), was brought in following the team’s struggles last season. Bayelsa United finished the campaign in 15th position, narrowly avoiding relegation. They will however kick start the new campaign against Sunshine Stars at the Akure Township Stadium on August 31st, with Ladan Bosso in the dugout.
In a bid to improve their fortunes, the club sought the expertise of Bosso, a seasoned tactician with a wealth of experience in Nigerian football. He has previously managed several NPFL clubs, including Kano Pillars, Wikki Tourists, Abia Warriors, and El-Kanemi Warriors.
The decision to rehire Bosso reflects Bayelsa United’s commitment to strengthening their squad and improving their performance in the upcoming season. Fans and players alike will be hoping that his return brings renewed vigour and success to the Restoration Boys.
