The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) announced plans to disconnect customers with outstanding bills by Monday, June 3, 2024. In a press statement released on Friday by Adefisayo Akinsanya, Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, the company gave affected customers a 72-hour notice to settle their bills to avoid service disruption.
The AEDC emphasized the importance of timely payments to maintain efficient and reliable service.
Akinsanya highlighted that the continued operation and enhancement of AEDC’s infrastructure, essential for delivering uninterrupted service to the community, depend on the prompt settlement of electricity bills.
