Flying Eagles set to open camp ahead of time in order to avoid mistakes of African Games.
In a bid to avoid the pitfalls of inadequate preparation, the Flying Eagles are gearing up to open camp well in advance of the U20 AFCON qualifiers.
Coach Ladan Bosso emphasized the importance of thorough preparation, citing the team’s disappointing performance in the recent African Games in Ghana, where they failed to advance beyond the group stage.
An official revealed that plans are underway for a state government to sponsor the team’s camp for a minimum of one month.
This initiative aims to provide the Flying Eagles with ample time and resources to fine-tune their skills and strategies for the upcoming U20 AFCON qualifiers.
The WAFU B U20 AFCON qualifiers are slated to take place in October, and the Flying Eagles are determined to make a strong showing.
By securing sufficient preparation time and support, they aim to enhance their chances of success in the qualifiers and ultimately aim for a successful campaign.
