Barcelona FC and Real Madrid to Include Nigeria in Their Era Tour for Upcoming Pre-Season Matches
The Spanish giants, Barcelona FC and Real Madrid, have announced their plans to include Nigeria in their Era Tour for the upcoming pre-season matches.
They will spend a week playing pre-season friendlies with top Nigerian clubs at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium and the renovated Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.
This initiative is part of the La Liga partnership with the Nigeria Premier League Body, aiming to promote and enhance the growth of the sport while raising awareness for the “Kick out Malaria” campaign.
The pre-season tour is scheduled to take place in early August 2024 and was made possible by NFF President Alh. Ibrahim Gusau and Former Port Harcourt Governor, His Excellency Nyesom Wike, a devoted fan of Los Blancos.
Spotify, a significant player in the Nigeria Entertainment Industry, will be the main sponsor of the Era Tour scheduled to occur in Uyo and Lagos.
