The highly anticipated second edition of the Nigerian Armed Forces, Police, and Paramilitary basketball championship is set to kick off from March 15th to 20th, 2024, in Abuja.
Organized under the auspices of the Paramilitary representative on the board of the Nigeria Basketball Federation, Assistant Commandant Victor Okoro, the championship promises intense competition as teams vie for honor and glory.
In praise of the championship, organizers lauded the efforts of the Minister for Sports Development, Hon. John Enoh, for his unwavering commitment to revitalizing sporting activities within the military and paramilitary agencies. These institutions are recognized as major employers of sportsmen and women across the country.
Additionally, organizers revealed that beyond the quest for medals and trophies, the eventual winner of the championship will have the privilege of representing Nigeria at the 2025 West African Security Basketball Championship.
