Boniface suffered an injury while with the Super Eagles squad during preparations for the 2023 African Cup of Nations. Following a successful surgery, he has embarked on a rehabilitation program to aid his recovery.
Updates from the club’s medical team indicate that Boniface is expected to be available for selection on either March 30th against Hoffenheim or April 3rd against Fortuna Dusseldorf.
