The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting taking place this week at the State House in Abuja is currently being led by President Bola Tinubu.
Attending the meeting being held in the Council Chambers are, Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume. Simon Lalong, and the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. (Mrs.) Betta Edu, remained vacant.
During the proceedings, President Tinubu administered the oath of office to Mrs. Olayinka Oladunjoye, who brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles as Commissioner of Education and of Commerce and Cooperatives in Lagos State. Her appointment comes as she replaces Mrs. Bimbo Salu-Hudeyin, following her recent assignment by the Lagos State Government.
