The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, lauded the increasing confidence of business conglomerates in the country.
Speaking at the grand opening of the Bon Octagon Hotel in Jahi Abuja on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024, Minister Idris expressed delight in witnessing more corporations viewing Nigeria as a prime destination for investment.
Minister Idris stated the importance of existing businesses expanding their reach across Nigeria, citing the benefits of increased profitability and enhanced economic indicators for the nation. He emphasized how significant these kinds of expansions are as beacons that attract further investment into the country.
Similar to these remarks, Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry, Doris Uzoka-Anite, praised the Bon franchise for its commitment to Nigeria’s market by erecting the Bon Octagon, touted as the largest hotel in its portfolio.
She highlighted the construction of larger and superior facilities as a clear indication of the company’s satisfaction with Nigeria’s investment climate.
Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade-John and Minister of Women’s Affairs Uju Kennedy, were also present at the event.
