Super Eagles Ahead of the all important clash against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, will train behind closed doors (Govima Sport Reports)
Nigeria who qualified as runners-up from group A will battle it out against Cameroon in the Round of 16 of the 34th Africa Cup of Nations after the Indomitable Lions edged out Gambia 3-2 in a dramatic group C contest on Tuesday.
Reports coming out of the camp of the Super Eagles in Cote d’Ivoire suggest that the training session will resume without the presence of any media coverage.
According to our correspondents, it was gathered that the decision of Coach Jose Peseiro to go behind closed doors was simply to avoid all forms of distractions from the media ahead of the Crucial Encounter with Cameroon on Saturday (9pm Nigeria time).
The Super Eagles will be aiming to win this particular contest as they look to add the AFCON title to their Cabinet for the fourth time in their history.
