Nigeria’s Super Eagles once again dropped points in their Group C 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers after they forced Warriors of Zimbabwe to a 1-1 draw in Rwanda on Sunday.
The encounter saw the Eagles come from a goal down to draw in the second game running following the 1-1 scoreline with Lesotho on matchday one.
New invitee Nathan Tella made his debut for the Eagles as he was named in the starting 11 before going off before the start of the second half for goal scorer Kelechi Iheanacho.
The next game in the qualifiers for the Eagles will be a home game against South Africa on 2nd June 2024.

Zimbabwe opened the scoring in the 26th minute through a brilliant long range free-kick from Walter Musona.
On 56 minutes the Eagles got a big opportunity after they were awarded an indirect free-kick but failed to take advantage.
In the 67th minute Iheanacho drew the Eagles level as he finished off an assist from Moses Simon.
Zimbabwe almost retook the lead on 82 minutes after Francis Uzoho failed to hold a cross but the effort hit the side netting.
In the 88th minute Zimbabwe got a free kick on the edge of the box following a foul by Jamilu Collins but the wall stopped the goal bound shot.
