The 2023-2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 2 will kick off across the country at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 7.
All the NPFL matchday 2 games on Saturday will kick off at the same time as usual and there will be only three fixtures on Saturday.
One of the most interesting fixtures will go down at the General Sani Abacha Stadium between two newly promoted clubs, Kano Pillars and Katsina United.
On Sunday, October 8, there will be seven fixtures across the country, and one of the biggest games to watch out for will go down at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium between the league’s former winners Akwa United and newly promoted Sporting Lagos.
Recall that the newly formed npfl club beat Gombe United 2-0 in their debut NPFL game last weekend in Lagos. Hence, their away game against Akwa United will be their first real test in the NPFL.
