The police have officially confirmed that Sam Larry, a prominent Lagos socialite, is currently in their custody and actively cooperating with ongoing investigations.
These investigations are focused on unravelling the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of 27-year-old singer and songwriter Promise Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad.
Reports indicate that Sam Larry was apprehended at Lagos Airport immediately upon his return to Nigeria. This detention comes in light of allegations that link him to the untimely demise of Mohbad.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, made this revelation via X on Thursday night, further fueling speculation and interest in the case.
