The Federal Government has pledged to complete the Abuja-Lagos highway within four years, according to a statement by the Minister of Works, David Umahi, during a briefing on Saturday.
The minister assured that once completed, the journey from Lagos to Abuja on the new highway would take only four hours.
A notable feature of this ambitious project is that the entire road will be constructed using concrete, a cost-effective alternative to asphalt. This development marks a significant step towards enhancing transportation infrastructure in Nigeria.
