Bayern Munich have set Tottenham Hotspur a deadline of midnight on Friday to accept a club-record offer totalling around €120m — €100m guaranteed with approximately €20m in add-ons — for Harry Kane.
Kane is in the final 12 months of his contract but Bayern are prepared to shatter their previous highest transfer — the €80m paid to Atletico Madrid for Lucas Hernandez — to land the England captain.
Bayern are now awaiting an answer from Spurs and have threatened to move onto other targets if the bid is not successful.
Kane has no interest in signing a new deal with Spurs this summer, leaving the club to make a decision as to whether they cash in now or risk losing their prized asset for nothing at the end of the season.
USA’s Musah in Italy to complete AC Milan transfer
United States and Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah has arrived in Italy to finalise a €20m ($21.9m) transfer to AC Milan, sources have confirmed to ESPN’s Sam Marsden.
Musah, 20, was due to undergo a medical on Friday before signing a five-year deal with the Serie A side to join USMNT teammate Christian Pulisic at the San Siro.
Pulisic made the move to Milan earlier this summer after spending four years at Chelsea and has featured regularly throughout preseason.
It has been a busy transfer window for the Rossoneri, who, in addition to Musah and Pulisic, have re-invested the money received from Newcastle United for Sandro Tonali on Samuel Chukwueze, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Tijjani Reijnders and Noah Okafor.
