The President Tinubu writes Senate seeking confirmation of appointments for new members of the governing board of the North East Development commission.
The North-East Development Commission (NEDC), serves as the primary organisation entrusted with the crucial task of evaluating, coordinating and streamlining all intervention programs and initiatives implemented by the Federal Government, its Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), as well as various States and other Development Partners.
It bears the responsibility for the effective implementation of these programs across the North East states, which include Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe.
