Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said Chelsea’s spending is none of his business.
Guardiola stated this while addressing the media on Friday, ahead of their trip to the Premier League this weekend.
The Blues have spent almost £300 million to bring in eight players in January.
They included stars like Mykhailo Mudryk, Benoit Badiashile and Noni Madueke.
Chelsea’s total spend was more than Ligue 1, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and the Championship combined.
“It’s none of my business. It’s a surprise because it’s not a club state.
“What I can control is the fact we won 11 titles in the last five years being one of the five or six net spend teams in the league. This is all I’m concerned about what we’ve done so far in this time,” Guardiola said.
