The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has opted for a direct primary to select its candidate for the Ondo governorship race on April 20.
In a letter addressed to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), signed by National Chairman Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and National Secretary Sen. Ajibola Basiru, the party confirmed its decision.
Deputy National Organising Secretary, Nze Chidi Duru, reiterated the mode of election, stating, “We are using the direct primary mode of election for Ondo State governorship primary election.”
