NYSC Releases 2025 Batch A Stream I Postings, Cautions Corps Members Against Night Travel.
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially released the postings for 2025 Batch A Stream I prospective corps members, urging them to prioritise safety as they prepare for their orientation programme.
In a series of announcements made on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, the NYSC advised all prospective corps members (PCMs) to avoid night travel while heading to their designated camps, stressing the importance of personal safety during transit.
As part of the preparation process, the NYSC highlighted that the signing and printing of the *addendum* document is a key requirement for entry into the orientation camps. This document, accessible via the NYSC dashboard after successful online registration, serves as a critical part of the verification process and is essential for registration in some states.
The scheme also noted logistical adjustments regarding camp locations. Some PCMs originally posted to Lagos will undertake their orientation in neighbouring states such as Ogun, Ondo, or Osun. Similarly, individuals deployed to Abuja may be assigned to orientation camps in Nasarawa or Kaduna.
“The 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream 1 deployment has been released. PCMs are advised not to travel at night to the orientation camp,” the NYSC stated.
The orientation course is a compulsory component of the national service programme and marks the beginning of the one-year service period. It is designed to instil discipline, patriotism, and community development values among Nigerian graduates.
With this announcement, PCMs are advised to check their dashboards promptly, complete all necessary documentation, and make safe travel arrangements ahead of their reporting dates.
