EeZee T, the boss of EeZee Conceptz record label, has responded to allegations made by gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.
He alleged that Mercy Chinwo has a plan to destroy him. According to EeZee T, it was Mercy Chinwo who took him to court in 2023, not the other way around.
EeZee T claimed that his bank account was frozen during that period, and he cannot use his hands to destroy the artistes he made. He also alleged that Mercy Chinwo threatened to destroy him and his record label. The dispute, according to EeZee T, is about money, specifically royalties.
Several pastors, including Pastor Mercy Ezekiel and Bishop Mike Okonkwo, have tried to intervene but peace has not been achieved. EeZee T described Mercy Chinwo as an actress who loves to play around with her voice, implying she’s being dramatic. He also alleged that Mercy Chinwo used to attend shows without the knowledge of her former record label.
EeZee T suggested that both parties should bring their accounts for auditing to resolve the issue peacefully. He also addressed the allegation that he dislikes Pastor Nathaniel Bassey and the lead pastor of Streams of Joy International, Jerry Eze. According to EeZee T, Mercy Chinwo should follow due process if she wants to collaborate with them.
The record label boss claimed that the dispute with Mercy Chinwo led to his arrest and detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for nine days. He alleged that Mercy Chinwo is on a mission to assassinate his character.
