The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB), has approved the establishment of the African Pharmaceutical Technology Foundation. AfDB has approved the establishment of the foundation to enhance access to technology in Africa that has underpinned the manufacture of medicines, vaccines, and other pharmaceutical products. AfDB group president, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, Lauding the initiative, said: “This is a great development for Africa.
