Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo revealed she was accused of killing late Nigerian singer Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Aloba) due to her advocacy for justice.
On “The Glass House” with AY, Ojo shared the negative criticism and allegations she faced. “They insinuated I killed Mohbad. I wasn’t around when he died; I wasn’t close to him.”
Ojo clarified her encounter with Mohbad was brief, during the One Africa music fest. “If I killed him, why would I fight for his body to be exhumed for autopsy?”
She denied allegations of seeking clout or financial gain. “They said I was paid, seeking a political position, or using it for clout… All I did was help seek justice.”
